Where can i buy a compaq recovery disk from?

-I bought my small mini laptop to pc world but they told me i couldnt fix it unless i bought a recovery disk, im wondering wwhere i could buy one from because i have a mini laptop which does not have a cd drive i would need one that is like a usb, the man told me that i could get one off the compaq website but i can't seem to find it any where does anyone know where i can get it from.... ThanksWell it would depend what Operating system is on the mini laptop im assuming windows 7 if its windows 7 all you have to do is find a windows 7 recovery disk and flash it a flash drive.

And this program if you have an image for the recovery disk (.iso) use this program to flash it to your Flash drive, make sure you back up any important stuff on you flash drive somewhere.

you may need an external DVD drive. Ask HP if they offer a USB recovery

If they only offer recovery 'disks' you can get an external disk drive but you will need to install the disk drive before running the recovery.
