My laptop speakers aren't working, can I buy add-on ones which will work?

-My laptop speakers on my HP G6000 Laptop has broke, I don't think the sound card is working, could I buy add-on speakers which will work?Plug your head phones into the speaker jack, not your front headphone jack, they are meant to work in both, if they work then your sound card is fine and any computer speakers will work fine.



If they don't then it's your sound card.
aNy set of speakers will work, they plugh in to the headphones jack on the computer like they do on a desktop.
