How pc monitor can be use as tv?

You need several things to make it a TV without computer. I'm not sure if it only works with LCD monitors.
A PC monitor alone cannot be used as a tv. But if you have the monitor connected to a computer you can buy a TV Tuner card and view tv channels on your monitor.
